A small upright deciduous tree with a weeping form. Five-lobed palmate leaves are colored butter-yellow in spring and summer, then change from yellow to orange to red in autumn. Prefers AM sun, PM shade in well-drained soil. If staked, 8' tall by 4' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees F. USDA zone 5.
