A dwarf, upright evergreen conifer with a broadly-pyramidal habit. Parents of this hybrid pine are P. wallichiana x P. strobus. Long, fine green needles gives a soft appearance. Famous for ornamental cones at a young age. Prefers full sun in most soils. 5' tall x 3' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -40 degrees. USDA zone 4-8.
