An upright deciduous tree with a broad canopy. Foliage is deep purple in spring with long narrow leaf lobes. Fall color ranges from orange to red to purple. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 10' tall by 6' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees F. USDA zone 5.
