A tall, straight conifer with smooth light gray bark and horizontally-spreading branches when young. Leaves have dark green above with paler shade below. Critically endangered status in the wild. Prefers sun in well-drained soil. 8' tall x 4' wide in 10 years. Hardy to 0 degrees. USDA zone 7.
