A slow-growing dense conifer with a broad pyramidal habit. Needles are short and colored blue-green. Selected at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University. Prefers full sun in well-drained soil. 2.5' tall x 2' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -40 degrees. USDA zone 4-7. Introduced by the Flora Wonder(tm) Collection of Buchholz Nursery.
