A large upright deciduous tree with ascending branches and a narrow canopy. This non-fruiting male selection has green leaves which turn spectacular gold in autumn. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 10' tall x 3' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -30 degrees. USDA zone 4-8
A Narrow Upright Ginkgo Biloba, "Magyar' is the fastest growing Columnar Type Ginkgo Biloba. Estimated Mature Dimensions are 50-60 Ft High by 4 -5 Ft Wide. Fall Color is Bright Gold. Lower Branches may be removed to create a "Clear'Stem' stature for Urban and Limited Space areas, but it's among the most narrow of all Columnar Ginkgo Trees in its 'Un-Altered" State.

Ginkgo biloba 'Magyar' / Maygar Maidenhair Tree
Upright form from the famous Princeton Nurseries. It is a faster grower than other columnar types with a very uniform and symmetrical branching even as a young tree. The eventual habit is that of an upright narrow pyramid, up to 19 metres, male. Turns bright gold in fall.
